- FinalSite uses the PTC Wizard SSO implementation to send users signed into FinalSite directly into PTC Wizard.
In order to set this integration up, you only need to contact Finalsite support and ask to enable SSO for PTC Wizard.
Their support will provide you with the following:
1) Base PTC Redirect URL: (This is usually something like https://<schoolname>.ptcwizard.com/authenticate/redirectsso).
2) Shared Encryption Key: (This is a randomized string of letters and numbers that either PTC Wizard or Finalsite can generate. Finalsite usually suggest a key on their end).
The Parent and Teacher ImportIDs that your school uses in Finalsite must match the ID's you use in PTC Wizard. If these IDs don't match, Finalsite will need to store Parent and Teacher PTC Wizard ID's in a custom field in Finalsite that they can instead pass over to distinguish who is trying to use the SSO.
The SSO links for teachers and parents would be as follows:

Teacher: https://<subdomain>.ptcwizard.com/authenticate/redirectsso/?role=teacher
To change the integration type to Infinite Campus: Admin site > Settings > Integration > Finalsite.
