If you are encountering issues with virtual meeting links not redirecting correctly - whether it is Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams - this article will help guide you to the solution. Common problems include being redirected to a blank page, seeing the error message "This page does not exist," or teachers being unable to start meetings through the "Start Meeting" tab in their accounts.
Solution:
The key to resolving all of these issues is ensuring that the meeting link starts with https://. All virtual meeting links - whether for Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams - must begin with this prefix for proper redirection to the meeting. The meeting link should not look like meet.google.com/ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo.
Here are examples of how the correct links should appear:
- Google Meet: https://meet.google.com/...
- Microsoft Teams: https://teams.microsoft.com/...
- Zoom: https://zoom.us/...
By ensuring that all meeting links are correctly formatted with https://, both parents and teachers will be able to seamlessly access their virtual meetings.
Link generation issue with Google, Zoom, or Microsoft Integration
Important note:
The Google Meet integration may occasionally experience instability, as it is an external service. Our access to Google’s internal settings is limited, which can sometimes affect the link generation process.
When this happens, we recommend using fixed meeting links as a reliable alternative to avoid interruptions.
If the meeting links are not being generated (displaying "Link generation in process" when clicking on"Join a meeting button), teachers need to reauthorize their integration in the account settings. Here is how to do it:
- Log in to the Teacher Account
- Navigate to Account Settings - this is where you will see the available video conferencing tools: Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams.
- Reauthorize the Integration - to reauthorize, toggle the integration option off and then back on.
- Reconnect to the Platform - after toggling the integration, you will be prompted to reauthorize the connection with your Zoom, Google, or Microsoft account. Important: you need to grant all the necessary permissions when prompted.
- You may need to refresh the page.
By following these steps, teachers can ensure that their virtual meeting links are generated properly.

After re-authorization, links are still not generated:
Re-book the meeting.
In most cases, re-booking the meeting triggers the system to generate a new Google Meet link successfully. If re-booking does not help, use a fixed link.
You can paste this fixed link directly into the teacher’s account to ensure the meeting can proceed without delays (please see the screenshot below).
The pasted link should be in a correct format: meet.google.com/ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo
