In PTC Wizard, a directory is a section that allows you to create and manage a list of contacts or users who have access to the system. This directory includes parents, teachers, students, and teams. Here's general information on how to use it: 


 1. Access the PTC Wizard platform using your admin login credentials. Once logged in, look for the “Directory” and go there. This is the place where you can see all the uploaded contacts from the integration.


 

2. To add a new contact or user to the directory, look for the option "Create New". Fill in the required information, which may include:

 • Title

 • Name 

 • Email address 

 • Class Description 

 • Other relevant details 


Please make sure to click Save to initiate the changes. 


 3. If you need to update or modify the information for an existing contact or user, locate the contact in the directory and select it. You should have the option to edit their details or delete the contact. 


 4. Use search and filter functions to quickly find specific contacts or users within the directory. This is especially useful when you have a large number of entries.


 5. From the directory you can upload/download teacher/parent/student/team files and their enrolment using CSV integration.



A few more features in the directory: 


Our system has a feature for logging in as a teacher/parent without any additional steps. There is a button to impersonate a contact in the description field. 

Modifying schedules and setting breaks can now also be done in the directory. Administrators can do it for individual contacts or for everyone on the list. 



On the right side of the description field, there is a button for connections between individuals. Depending on the user, the administrator can link new parents/teachers/students/teams and make the necessary changes.




To find active and archived records in the Directory administrators should click on the arrow on the right side of a search button. For more information about active and archived records, please click here
