If you have installed the PTC Wizard Zoom app and connected your Zoom account to your PTC Wizard account, then parents may prefer to meet you online instead of face-to-face.
What is a Zoom meeting?
Zoom is a video conference tool that allows you to meet your teacher online using a computer or phone with their video conference technology.
Zoom meetings enable parents to meet with teachers remotely.
How do I know if a parent wants to have a meeting via Zoom?
When you sign into your PTC Wizard account, you will be able to bring up your schedule for the parent-teacher conference event at your school.
If a parent has taken advantage of the Zoom integration, you will see a link next to their appointment to join the Zoom meeting.
Click the link and your meeting will begin.
Each meeting will have a different link, so you do not have to worry about a parent accidentally joining your meeting with a different parent.
But it also means that you need to leave each meeting when it is finished and click the link for the next meeting when it is time to begin.
